Purchasing Professional Development Conference Registration

The East Tennessee Purchasing Association and the Tennessee Association of Public Purchasing are working together to offer a Purchasing Professional Development Conference October 20-22 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We encourage procurement professionals from across the region to join us for this exciting event as it will facilitate your professional development, foster camaraderie within and between the conference attendees, and be a great opportunity for you to enjoy autumn in Pigeon Forge. During the event, you will have the opportunity to attend a NIGP course for credit, participate in roundtable discussion sessions on procurement topics of current interest, visit the vendor fair, and attend a reception for procurement professionals and the vendors.

LODGING - We have reserved a block of rooms at the Music Road Hotel for the convenience of the attendees. The cost of the rooms is $89 per night, plus sales tax of 9.75% and lodging tax of 2.25%. PLEASE REGISTER NOW for your rooms - click here for the instructions on registering via Music Road's website. You will need to provide a credit card number but will not be charged until you actually check in at the hotel. Hotel check in time is 3:00 p.m. each day and check out is at 11:00 a.m. If you have problems registering, contact the Music Road Hotel at (800) 429-7700.

NIGP COURSE - We will offer the one-day NIGP course called "Protest and Disputes: What's a Buyer to Do?" during the conference. To provide time for conference attendees to participate in the Thursday afternoon activities, the NIGP course will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20 and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21. ROUNDTABLE/SPEAKER SESSION 1 - We will offer the first roundtable/speaker session to discuss procurement topics from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20. Please send an email to powens@cityofknoxville.org to register for this session.

ROUNDTABLE/SPEAKER SESSION 2 - We will offer the second roundtable/speaker session to discuss procurement topics from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21. Please send an email to powens@cityofknoxville.org to register for this session.

PURCHASING RECEPTION - Please join us in a reception for procurement professionals and the conference vendors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, immediately following the Vendor Fair. Send an email to powens@cityofknoxville.org to RSVP.
